Full Mouth Rehabilitation
Full mouth rehabilitation is a procedure that corrects poorly aligned jaws, worn, missing, broken or crooked teeth. It’s a perfect blend of neuromuscular dentistry and cosmetic dentistry and helps to create smiles that look natural. Full mouth rehabilitation is performed by general or restorative dentists, periodontists, oral surgeons, orthodontists and endodontists. Our dentists will examine your mouth to determine the extent of the tooth problem. Initially, we will examine your teeth, gum tissues, Temporomandibular joints, Esthetics, and jaw muscles.
Many patients over time experience excessive breakdown of their teeth. This can be because of excessive grinding or decay that causes wear and loss of enamel. We also see patients who have lost several teeth to decay or accidents, the remaining teeth move around to fill the missing space. Long term there is collapse of the bite. We provide full mouth rehabilitation.
Many of these patients seek treatment because they don’t like the appearance of their smile or they feel they can’t eat properly and don’t want to lose all their teeth and end up with a denture. We also see the pain of patients who because of their bite get headaches or sore jaw muscles. We have the training to evaluate and restore this most difficult and complex cases. If you have concerns about your smile or bite call today for a consultation.
